Summer Camp

Posted by Nik on 20 October 2013

My first swim in clothes was at boys summer camp. Arriving there, my parents and I were shown around the area by the staff.

When the tour ended by the lake, I saw three boys around my age in the water with their clothes on. One of them climbed up on the pier and although he said he had been pushed into the lake by another guy, it was very obvious that he enjoyed being soaked. And in fact he jumped into the lake again in his tracksuit and sneakers.

Instantly, I felt I wanted to join them. When I told my parents they kind of encouraged me to jump in. As long as I put the clothes up to dry properly, mom said. So I jumped into the water with my clothes on, shoes and all.

The four of us splashed around for some time, jumping up and down the pier, pushing each other in. After a while my parents told me they had to leave, so I climbed out of the water and gave them a soaked hug before I jumped in again.

My stay at the camp turned out to be a very wet experience. We enjoyed swimming, canoeing, windsurfing, lifesaving and more, always fully clothed.

Camp lasted only a few days, but I had the pleasure to get soaked serveral times a day, and at times I didn't have any dry clothes to change into after a plunge.

I was hooked at his camp. The following years, my parents were always supportive and I was allowed to get soaked almost as much as I wanted to. And soaked I got.

I still love it today.
