Background

Wacky Wet World is an interactive site with information on wet outdoor activities and sports, message forums, a chat room, user interaction and popular photo albums.

This site also encourages interaction from visitors through feedback and talk forums making it the top address for people enjoying wet outdoor activities.

History

Back in October 1996 Wacky Wet World was created by the web designers of  intereliant  as a protest against internet censorship.

Rather than showing adult content, they did the opposite and published some photos of fully clothed people, but soaking wet.

It turned out to be a great success with the readers and has grown from a single page into the market leader of the wetlook fashion scene.
