My Friend Dared Me Into The Water

I remember when I was 11 1/2 or 12 years old and when I found out I love to swim fully clothed. I was at a creek in So. Cal. where the water was warm and smooth, I looked at it, and was hypnotized by it. The water was about 5 feet deep in that part of the creek in the middle and you could walk down the bank at a slow pace. Anyway, my friend who was about 13 at the time was with me. He dared me to walk into the water, but I told him I had all of my clothes on. He said so what, I said I don't think so. He said if you do I would. I was wearing blue jeans and a white OP T-shirt, socks and tennis shoes. He was wearing a similar outfit of shorts and white T-shirt. He said lets walk into the water together. I was scared to because I would get into trouble. He said don't worry about I will cover you. So, I started towards the water then told him I should take my shoes and shirt off and he said you don't have to. So I gave up and listened to him.

He told me to put my hands on my head and to walk down the hill into the water slowly and that he would join in as well. He also started to walk as he said he would. We took our first step into the water and could feel the water entering my shoes and getting my socks wet and it tickled. He said this is great, huh? I said nothing. We continued to enter the water and slowly had the water come up our legs and could feel my jeans getting wet with each movement. The water reached our crotch and we stopped, I asked why I had my hands on my head, he said you will see. I said ok. We let the water fill our pants and it felt weird to have my underwear wet as well as my pants.

The water line was now at the bottom of our T-shirts. We continued into the water, as the water rose on my shirt and his I could see through his and my shirt up to our chests. He also had his hands on his head and told me to slowly stop and let the water fill the rest of our shirts. As the water reached our armpits it tickled and the water poured into our sleeves. We started to move around and I could feel bubbles coming up from my pants though my shirt past my armpits and exit out of my sleeves. It felt great. Then we relaxed and let our arms down and I could see his and my shirtsleeves just flowing around in the water as if it were weightlessness. It was a cool sight to see that. Ever since I have been swimming fully clothed.

Excellent!!! Perfect reaction to an awkward situation. It could well make for a closer and much more interesting relationship. I have not had the same experience with my mom, but her willingness to indulge me in my pool diving antics has given me a great respect for her open-mindedness and a deeper love. We are very close, and acceptance has made me more willing to talk to her about... other things. I think it's a very cool thing you did! ( And although the word is "caught" your English is great! ) with respect and admiration for your reactions,
