Thailand - April 2002

Sunsafe beachwear, swimwear and leisure wear is becoming more popular as people get more aware of sunburn and resulting skin cancer.

Thailand is the ideal location for such a test. April is the hottest and sunniest month and is the time for the wild Songkran Water Festival, where people splash water over each other for four days.

We will be assessing:

  • Swim Shirts (aka rash vests, sun tops, lycra tops, surf shirts, water shirts)
  • One Piece Body Suits (aka dive skin, skinsuit, stinger suit, zoot suit)
  • Other Sunwear (like unlined shell suits, Pertex suits, breathable, quick drying)
