The Towcho Company was founded on the new design for a practical towelling poncho without a hood. The Towcho idea (which was the brainchild of Pauline Walton) was born out of frustration with kids and water, and the effort of getting them warm, dry, and safe from sunburn.

Our Test Results

Our test kids just love them. They wear them between swims over their lycra swimwear to warm up, or when running around or playing near the pool. The dense weave helps avoid windchill when they wear it over their wet clothes.

New: Towcho^® for Adults

Made from the same soft material as the kid's Towchos, the adult version uses a different design. It is shorter, which makes it less bulky. If you're not too tall you can use it for getting changed underneath.

Of course, some of you may want to wear it in the pool as well. If you like heavy gear than this is for you. It soaks up lots of water as any good towel should.

All it all, we can recommend it as something practical you should have with you when you head for the beach or pool.
