After long wet holidays, full of ecstatic water fun, it's time to head back to school. The fun needn't stop though, as there are so many opportunities to get wet.School Showers

When I was at school, we always had to take a shower after games. During my puberty I got really shy and me and my friends decided it would be 'cool' to shower in our games kit, or at least shorts. After a while this progressed to me telling my parents that we had games most days or that my mates had thrown my kit in the showers for a joke so that I could take a bath or shower at home wearing my kit. It wasn't long before I started creating clever stories that involved me coming home in my games kit from school and telling my parents that some bigger guys had pushed me under the showers at school in my school uniform. Often this was so that I could shower or bath wearing my uniform at home. (for those stateside who don't have a uniform - In England the traditional unifrom consists of a black blazer, white shirt, school tie, black trousers, grey socks and black school shoes)

I'm 14 now but when I was 11 some kids forced me into the showers with my gym kit on. I found that I actually enjoyed the experience and since then I have been wearing my kit in the bath. I also like to go into the showers at school wearing my kit. Some other boys also do this and nobody seems to think it is out of the ordinary. Also there a many excuses you can make for wet games kit, eg. "The pitch was rather muddy so I rinsed my kit through before bringing it home".Posted by Watershorts on August 30, 1998 at 23:04:39:You're not the only one. I'm 14 and I've been enjoying getting my sports kit wet since I was 12. With me it started in the school showers when I saw a boy take a shower with his gym kit on. For some reason the sight of him in his wet shorts and t-shirt exited me and that evening at home I put my gym kit on when I took a shower. It was fantastic and since then I have always worn my gym kit in the shower whenever possible. After seeing that boy at school I also took to going into the school showers in my tee shirt and shorts and was pleased to find that other boys also took to joining me in doing this. This is brilliant as I find I enjoy seeing other boys soaking wet as much as i like getting wet.

We did cross country running and part of the course runs by a canal. After egging each other on eventualy one boy jumped in with his pe-kit on and several of us joined him for a good splash about. The most brilliant part of this was when we climbed out of the water to run back to school. Our schools Pe-kit consists of short sleeved white tee-shirts and short white cotton shorts. When we emerged soaking wet our kit had gone completely transparent and we had a rather embarrasing time running back into school without being seen. Since then we have tried swimming in various clothes. On the last day of the summer term we at last saw one boy dive into the school swimming pool in has full school uniform, shoes, socks, black trousers, shirt, tie, grey pullover, the lot. He went home wearing his pe-kit but we would love to know how he explained himself at home.Wet School Uniform

I experienced my first soaking in anything other than gym kit only a few weeks ago. There is a small lake near our school and in the summer kids often swim there after school. I was there with several others watching the kids diving in and swimming. Most had changed into shorts although I was pleased to see a few had gone in with their tee shirts on. It was at this point one of the boys standing near me suddenly ran to the edge of the lake and plunged in head first in with his jeans and polo shirt on. He dared me to dive in and join him. I suddenly got very exited and leaped into the water in my full school uniform. It felt so brilliant. I had everything on, including my school blazer and I spent quite a while playing in the water. Have you tried swimming underwater in your school uniform. It feels great if you've still got your blazer on.Posted by Splashboy on September 03, 1998 at 23:33:09:
Started back at school today and took another swim in my uniform. This time I went in with my blazer on as well. Wow!! you really know your swimming with your clothes on and its fantasic the way all that water pours out of your blazer when you stand up. During the summer I've often gone in the sea with my t-shirt on and my parents don't mind this (I use the sunburn excuse). I've also tried swimming in my jeans but I've not yet found anything to match the thrill I get from swimming in my school uniform. It must be the risk of getting caught that exites me.I had an extra bit of fun this afternoon. As it is first day back I did not have my games kit. This meant I had to cycle home in my wet uniform. I found this to be a rather enjoyable experience. It's such a pity the British summer is so short. The sea was rather cold today and will soon be too cold for swimming until next year. Oh Well!! back to the shower.
On the subject of wet games kit, our school field today was waterlogged as a result of the recent rain. I hope is stays like that as we've got games tomorrow. If we are allowed to play football on that muddy pitch it will be great. Just the thought of us all running out there in our nice clean white shorts and tee shirts and then getting wet and muddy is getting me exited. If we are allowed to play I'm going to try and be in goal so I can enjoy myself by diving into the mud and getting really wet and dirty.

Why not suggest a race in full school uniform for the next swimming sports - much better than 100m breaststroke. Think of the training you would have to do in the pool, fully clothed of course - and all legit! Actually you could have lots of races - relay, backstroke, etc., - the lot all in uniform. Bet you'd get plenty of volunteers. Should be compulsory!
