Sunsafe Swimwear has become quite fashionable, especially in Australia. Some people wear their sun protection clothing even when they are not swimming outdoors, like indoor swimming centres, schools or shopping malls. Many public swimming pools allow T-shirts or lycra tops in the water, just ask.

Anoraks (the pullover type with the short zip) are very fashionable now. For your next swim you may want to wear a rain jacket or a light nylon overall for extra comfort and fun. It stops the windchill when you're hopping in and out of the water all the time. In warmer climates a breathable Pertex suit keeps various beasties off you when swimming.
